I Learn About Hundreds of New Brands a Month—These Are the 5 to Know About Now

With my job as a fashion editor, I’m constantly learning about new fashion brands that are popping up around the globe. To be honest, it’s one of my favorite parts of the job because I love the process of discovering new talent and uncovering the beautiful pieces designers are creating. Between attending press appointments to see upcoming collections, keeping an eye on new arrivals at my favorite retailers, taking in outfits on the street style scene, and indulging in late-night deep dives on Instagram, there are plenty of new brands that are regularly landing on my radar.

So which are the new fashion brands I’m excited about for spring 2019? Ahead, I’m highlighting five labels that are sitting in my shopping cart right now that I’m looking forward to wearing in the months ahead. From sculptural jewelry to the most incredible minidresses to the French brand I’ve been talking about for months (that you can finally order), these are the new fashion brands I’m investing in now.

ROWEN ROSE

I've covered Rowen Rose onBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing before and talked at length about why the brand is about to be big, but up until a few weeks ago, you couldn't actually buy its pieces. It has now launched e-commerce and is available on Moda Operandi, so if you've been wanting to order its pieces, you no longer have to wait.

ANNE MANNS

The sculptural pieces from designer Anne Manns are a fresh take on jewelry that feels modern and cool. I especially have my eye on the Eila earrings that wind around the curves of the ear.

DE LA VALI

As we move into the warmer months of the year, I'll be moving away from coats and layers. Instead, I plan on wearing some of the fun pieces from De la Vali (like its gold Lurex minidress) that are inspired by the Ibizan heritage of the designers.
