Alessandra Ambrosio's Non-Skinny Jeans Look So Good With Ankle Boots

Last year, it became increasingly tough to ignore the fact that more and more people (including celebs like Chrissy Teigen and Jennifer Lopez) were trading their skinny jeans for pleated jeans on occasion. Given the return of so many '80s fashion trends over the past year or so, it's not exactly shocking that pleated denim made a comeback. Fortunately, this time around, the styles are slimmer and considerably easier to wear. Case in point: the One Teaspoon pleated jeans that Alessandra Ambrosio just wore in L.A.

If you're looking for easy winter-to-spring transitional outfit ideas, you've definitely come to the right place. Ambrosio paired her One Teaspoon pleated jeans (which you can shop below) with a white long-sleeve tee and Western-inspired accessories, including a saddlebag, belt, and, yes, ankle boots. The reason the jeans work so well with ankle boots is that they hit at just the right place and they're wide enough to fit over the top of the boots. Can't say the same for skinny jeans.
