Amanda Seyfried's Engagement Ring Is Refreshingly Minimalistic

Congratulations are in order: Amanda Seyfried is getting married! Her rep confirmed to People that she's engaged to Thomas Sadoski, her co-star in the upcoming flick Last Word. Yesterday she was spotted out in New York City for the first time since the news broke, where she was wearing a simple gold band on her left ring finger instead of a diamond engagement ring. While many prefer sparkly baubles, Seyfried's minimalistic ring is a refreshingly simple choice—especially in Hollywood.

Seyfried is not the only celebrity to go the fuss-free route: Mila Kunis recently revealed that her wedding band came from Etsy and cost only $90. Of course there's nothing wrong with pining for a diamond when you get engaged, but as Seyfried and Kunis have proven, it's definitely not the only option out there. To each their own!
