For what is often among the most fashionable events of the year, celebrities gathered last night for the seventh annual amfAR Inspiration Gala at Milk Studios in Los Angeles. Dressed in their best black-tie attire, stars and other distinguished guests thronged the venue to bid in an exclusive live auction with prizes ranging from art by Banksy to two tickets to the Givenchy fashion show in Paris.
Since its launch in 2010, amfAR's Inspiration series has celebrated men's fashion and style with galas the world over while focusing on a different design inspiration theme each year. At the 2016 event, Charlize Theron, one of the night's honorees, was recognized for her dedication to AIDS awareness, education, and prevention. The star-studded soirée, which boasted an impressive guest list including Heidi Klum, Courtney Love, and Jon Hamm, raised over $2 million for AIDS research programs. To date, the Inspiration galas have raised over $26 million.
