All of the Industry People I Know Buy £27 Bras From This Store

When it comes to buying lingerie, it can sometimes feel like the options available to us are somewhat binary: ultra-sexy lace or minimalist cotton, bargain basement cheap or eye-wateringly expensive… it's surprisingly hard to find a middle ground. I discovered Other Stories's lingerie offering soon after the brand launched in London back in 2013, and I think it's one of the few places that managed to identify the gap in the market for chic yet comfortable underwear that wasn't exclusively designed for the male gaze or for purely practical purposes.

After a quick survey of the office, it transpired that I was not alone in my love for Other Stories bras, with many of my colleagues stating it as their go-to for affordable pieces. To my surprise, even those with bigger busts were on board: "Let's not beat around the bush—I have big boobs, and while Other Stories's cupped bras don't fit me, I do find that the soft-cup bralettes are brilliant for larger busts on days that don't require full-on reinforcement," says freelance contributor Maxine Eggenberger. "Anything but flimsy, the fabrics are of a better quality than most other high-street brands, equating to more support. They make my boobs look pert (well, as pert as 32Gs are going to get), and they're pretty too, as opposed to the frightful designs most big-boobed girls have simply become accustomed to." If that isn't a rave review, then we don't know what is.

With a new year coming up, it's time to treat yourself, and what better way to do this than to buy some pretty new lingerie? Scroll down to see our full edit of the Other Stories bras that have caught our eye this week.
