There are few constants in this ever-changing world, but one that remains unwavering is that Angelina Jolie is the queen of quiet luxury. On an afternoon in Rome, the multi-hyphenate emerged in an outfit that evokes a few adjectives: expensive-looking, elegant, refined and utterly perfect.

Understanding that it’s all about the fit, Jolie masterfully styled her ever-so-slightly oversized blazer over a tonal white dress, which was equally flowy, creating a harmonious silhouette. Polishing the look, the actress and humanitarian styled her hair in a gently pulled-back bun, and wore a minimal, rosy tint on her lips, letting her accessories quietly elevate her outfit.

Keeping her jewellery to a minimum—a tried-and-true trick for achieving an expensive-looking result—Jolie added gold earrings set with a sparkling diamond and a single gold bangle.

Sticking to the same colour palette appears to be a trick of Jolie's to create refined and expensive-looking results with her outfits. Last month, she wore an all-black outfit on a day out in New York, styling a black trench coat with minimal ballet flats, making a strong case for black in the summer.
