These 5 Trousers Make Saying Goodbye to Bare-Leg Season So Much Easier

They might have been somewhat in hibernation for the summer, taking a backseat to pretty dresses and skirts, but trousers are officially back on the style agenda for autumn. And while you'll still find us sporting an array of midis with opaques throughout the season, we actually can't wait to get our hands on (and legs in) a new pair of standout strides.
In fact, many of our favourite influencers have already switched up their style to make way for 2019's new hero trousers, and it seems there are five key styles they keep wearing on repeat. From a fresh take on trousers that never goes out of style to formerly relegated-to-the-house joggers that have been given a luxury overhaul, keep scrolling to see and shop the autumn trouser trends 2019 has to offer.
1. Statement Checks
2. Posh Joggers
Joggers haven't always been the height of sophistication, but thanks to the likes of Fendi and ME+EM, they've been given a serious gloss-over just in time for autumn. Look for styles with stripes to the side for a cool take on the off-duty essential.
3. Bright Cords
Corduroy came back in a big way in 2018, and it's set to be just as prevalent in our wardrobes for winter 2019 too. Instead of the camel hues we're used to, take the playful approach by investing in a pair of brightly hued textured strides.
4. Straight-Leg Leather
Leather trousers always make a comeback this time of year. However, for 2019, instead of tapered styles, the autumn staple has been given an overhaul with straight legs, which in turn gives off a more relaxed vibe.
5. Retro Flares
If you always rely on jeans to get you through the winter, we suggest shaking up your denim collection with a pair of retro-inspired flares. One of the A/W 19 catwalk's key pieces, wear them with everything from satin camisoles and crisp white shirts to band tees and Technicolor knitwear.
Up next, the classic trend London girls can't get enough of right now.
