Hailey Bieber and Bella Hadid Are Already Wearing Spring's Biggest Denim Trend
Depending on who you ask, you'll probably get a lot of different answers to the question "What's the best denim style?" Many people seem to be divided on the topic, especially in 2022, when so many different cuts and washes are trending all at once. This week, however, we got to the bottom of the denim dilemma. With a little help from Hailey Bieber and Bella Hadid, that is.
After being spotted on both Bieber and Hadid during Paris Fashion Week, we can say with absolute certainty that baggy jeans are the denim style to beat for spring this year. Sorry to boot-cut, skinny, and low-rise fans, but with two of fashion's most influential dressers backing the baggy-jeans trend, there really is no competition.
Bieber, who's been pulling out all the stops in the fashion department since she touched down in Paris at the end of last week, paired her mid-wash, baggy jeans with black loafers, a midriff-baring white blouse, and a moto-style leather duster. Meanwhile, for the Balenciaga show, Hadid styled a ripped pair of baggy jeans from the brand's S/S 22 collection with a turtleneck-style tunic and an oversize cardigan, also by Balenciaga. Ultimately, the two models styled the '90s and early-aughts denim style in opposing ways, but both looks put the silhouette at the top of every one of our spring wish lists.

I've tried these on and can tell you that they're worth every penny.
If you haven't perused Zara's denim selection lately, here's your sign to do so.
I've heard so many fashion editors rave about these jeans.
I personally love a ripped pair of jeans combined with an elevated top like a cashmere sweater or leather blazer.
