A Balenciaga Net-a-Porter Collaboration Has Arrived and It's Selling Out
When we hear the words Balenciaga and Net-a-Porter in the same sentence, we can't help but stop what we're doing. And that's exactly what we did when we caught wind that the reigning It brand and every fashion girl's go-to shopping destination were teaming up. And it isn't just Net-a-Porter that gets to have all the fun. Mr Porter, it's partner site for men's style needs, is also in on the collaboration. The collaboration is especially significant because it's the first time Balenciaga Creative Director Demna Gvasalia has collaborated on women’s and men’s exclusive collections with a retail partner.
According to a press release, Balenciaga CEO Cédric Charbit put the decision to collaborate simply, saying "We are very happy to collaborate on this unique project between Balenciaga and Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter. There are only a few online pure players that can make it happen."
Included in the collection on both sites are ready-to-wear clothing and accessories in limited-edition colorways and prints on styles from the brand's S/S 18 runway. Of the 53 pieces on Net-a-Porter and 34 on Mr. Porter, many are already selling out after just being released this morning (which isn't surprising in the least), so you're probably going to want to act fast if you want to add any of the exclusive pieces to your closet.
Below, you'll find the campaign images from the collection, styled and photographed on Net-a-Porter employees at its London headquarters by Balenciaga campaign creators Johnny Dufort and Lotta Volkova. Additionally, you'll find a roundup of highly covetable pieces that are quickly selling out. Shop the rest of the collection in its entirety here.
