Barneys Is Closing, and Almost Everything Is on Sale—Shop the 23 Best Items
It's the end of an era: After declaring bankruptcy, Barneys New York was sold for parts and will close all five of its stores. The buyers have begun liquidating the inventory, which includes every covetable designer name under the sun, including Gucci, Chloé, Saint Laurent, and more. According to The New York Times, Barneys hopes to sell most of its luxury products by the end of December, and we have a feeling that items will go quickly.
The sale on the Barneys website right now covers every single category and only excludes a handful of brands, such as Givenchy. However, if you were crossing your fingers for mega discounts, we have a disclaimer for you: Prices are currently slashed from 5% to 10%. Another disclaimer: All sales are final, so you can't return these items. But the good news is that you can find discounted items that are almost never on sale at all, such as Gucci sneakers, Prada bags, and more. Plus, Barneys has plenty of chic items under $200, so you don't need to spend a fortune to get good deals. Scroll down to shop our favorite pieces from the Barneys going-out-of-business sale.

Erin got her start as aBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
