As I type these words, I am in somewhat of a fashion month bubble. I have spent four (very fabulous) days stomping around SoHo and battling my way through the chic sort of crowds that only New York Fashion Week can bring in. Following that, I have also spent a week in my hometown of London, darting around town and immersing myself in every part of London Fashion Week. Then came Milan, which had me glued to my laptop screen watching the backstage images drop into my inbox in real time. Now, I'm at my desk analysing the runways of France as Paris Fashion Week kicks into gear. Why? Because as a beauty director, I am entirely committed to my cause of identifying the biggest upcoming beauty trends, straight from the fashion month runways.
What I'm trying to say here is that even though we are only just over halfway through fashion month, myself and the rest of the beauty team at Who What Wear UK have really been throwing ourselves right into the action—taking notes on every makeup trend, hair trend and nail trend going. With New York, London and Milan Fashion Week done and dusted, and Paris Fashion Week now in full swing, we've been backstage taking notes where possible and scrolling through every runway look the minute they come in for the shows our schedule wouldn't allow us to make.
And I get it—it feels weird to be talking about spring/summer right now. As the weather starts getting cooler and we get ready to embrace cosy season (seriously, we're very excited by the autumn makeup colour trends coming through right now), the runways are turning their attention to spring—and it's time to start taking notes. Ahead, every spring/summer 2026 fashion month beauty look you'll want to save down for future inspiration.
BALMAIN
Meanwhile, it was all about these statement side fringes at Balmain.
TOM FORD
Tom Ford's global makeup artist, Lucy Bridge, created the most stunning lacquered lip look in this deep red hue.
Gabriela Hearst
Gabriela Hearst gave us all of the throwback vibes with this pop of blue shimmery eyeshadow.
CHRISTIAN DIOR
We've waited a long time for this, and the day finally arrived—Jonathan Anderson's womenswear debut for Christian Dior was every bit as perfect as we had hoped. My beauty-director highlight? The free-flowing waves and subtly rouged cheeks.
STELLA MCCARTNEY
Stella McCartney was a balmy-lipped, balmy-skinned, ruffled-hair feast for the eyes.
DRIES VAN NOTEN
Dries was all micro fringes and micro plaits—sometimes together, sometimes separately, but always delightful.
LANVIN
Balmy skin paired with a thick headband? A summer beauty dream.
SAINT LAURENT
You can always rely on Saint Laurent for a grungy eye and dewy highlight, but the grungy bun? That's a new addition, and I'm obsessed.
MILAN
GIORGIO ARMANI
Yes, there were pinned-up chignons, but it's la dolce vita, Italian-style lashes I can't get enough of.
BOTTEGA VENETA
Everyone in theBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing UK office is very into the soft smoky eye debuted at Bottega.
VERSACE
A deep side-part and swept-over volume dominated the hair game at Versace.
TOD'S
This is the stuff slicked-back-bob dreams are made of.
BLUMARINE
Smoky tightlining is officially back for S/S 26, according to Blumarine.
SPORTMAX
I basically haven't been able to stop thinking about this diffused berry lip ever since the Sportmax show.
ROBERTO CAVALLI
The hair at Roberto Cavalli was all fluff and flyaways—perfect imperfection.
MOSCHINO
According to Moschino, next season will see a big focus on tousled waves.
EMPORIO ARMANI
The glowing skin really stole the show at Emporio Armani.
PRADA
Meanwhile, Prada embraced this sleek, wet-look hairstyle.
MAX MARA
The Max Mara show was all about these vintage-looking, voluminous updo hairstyles.
KNWLS
KNWLS announced the return of the graphic eyeliner look for next season.
MISSONI
This feathered bob and oversized earring combo lives rent free in my head.
FENDI
I love the contrast between this sharp side parting and soft pink lip.
JIL SANDER
Bobs really are dominating the runway in Milan this year. This micro, flicky style was spotted at Jil Sander.
DIESEL
Glowing skin took centre stage at Diesel, but this choppy bob is all I can think about.
LONDON
NANUSHKA
Celebrity hairstylist Larry King created effortlessly undone, cool-girl waves at Nanushka, which perfectly complemented the minimal makeup look.
ASHISH
Ashish was a celebration of individuality and bright colour alike. Eyes were framed in Cleopatra blue, lips were bedazzled with glitter shimmer made its way into blush and even the contour in every colour of the rainbow.
BURBERRY
The SS26 show was quintessentially Burberry, with loose waves and "no-makeup" makeup that kept the look understated yet polished.
SUSAN FANG
Authentic Beauty Concept crafted perfectly undone hair at Susan Fang, where the tendrils often covered half of the models face. Makeup was pared-back, with just a fine, holographic ribbon accent framing the eyes.
Conner Ives
At Conner Ives, MAC drew inspiration from different eras of beauty that resulted in an eclectic moment from model to model. Note the frosted lips and bleached brows.
ERDEM
Authentic Beauty Concept and Erdem proved that textured hair isn't going anywhere. Each model was set down the runway with a hairstyle that worked with and amplified natural texture, helped with an addition of sea salt spray.
SIMONE ROCHA
As someone who despises styling my own hair, the slightly messy, adolescent, youthful vibes created by Bumble and bumble at Simone Rocha are everything.
MARQUES’ ALMEIDA
This dishevelled bob, as seen at Marques' Almeida, has been living rent-free in my brain ever since laying eyes on it for the first time.
EMILIA WICKSTEAD
While skin as a whole seems to take a backwards step this season in favour of heavier makeup looks, this glass-skin vibe, created with Eve Lom, at Emilia Wickstead is undeniably beautiful.
TOVE
Fresh, buttery, glowing skin took centre stage at Tove, thanks to prep with 111 Skin.
RICHARD QUINN
In true Richard Quinn form, romantic and elegant chignons led the way.
ROKSANDA
If ever a London Fashion Week beauty look was to stop you in your tracks, it would be this frame of beauty via Roksanda. The most iconic element? Hair with a high-gloss finish and graphic lines were created by Anna Cofone and Authentic Beauty Concept.
TOGA
Clumpy lashes are already proving somewhat of a spring/summer trend for next year, and combined with this sunset yellow lid, the look is total perfection.
YUHAN WANG
Frosted lips and icy highlight might typically be reserved for winter looks, but this delicate makeup look at Yuhan Wang proves it's a must-try for summer, too.
DI PETSA
Di Petsa was all grungy hair and lived-in makeup.
BORA AKSU
Bushy brows, delicately clumped lashes and narrow, doll-like lipstick? Bora Aksu, you win.
MITHRIDATE
The preppy vibes at Mithridate are all I've been able to think about. From the hair flicks and fridges to the baby-pink makeup accents, everything was perfection.
HARRIS REED
With makeup artistry led by team Charlotte Tilbury, headed up by global artistry director, Sofia Tilbury, the look at Harris Reed was all doll-like glamour and film noir references with a slightly punky twist.
NEW YORK
LAQUAN SMITH
Wet-look hair is forecasted as a key SS26 hair trend, going by the hair moments at Laquan Smith this season.
ELENA VELEZ
A NYFW draws to a close, we spotted smudged eye makeup and white lashes and brows at the Elena Velez show.
FREDERICK ANDERSON
I've noticed pops of purple all over the runways this year, especially when it comes to eyeshadow.
PATBO
The PatBo show was all about statement blusher, proving that this trend is going nowhere next season.
TORY BURCH
Side partings and swept-over fringes have definitely been a dominating style during New York Fashion Week.
BIBHU MOHAPATRA
I'll be dreaming of this statement eyeshadow look and slicked-back hairstyle for many months to come.
COACH
The Coach runway was dominated by wispy fringes and chic curtain bangs. It looks like a trip to the hairdressers is on the cards for spring/summer 2026.
JASON WU
Glowing skin is still very much in according to Jason Wu.
SANDY LIANG
The hair look at Sandy Liang was undeniably chic, featuring a glossy bob, a side part and a statement clip.
ULLA JOHNSON
Ulla Johnson proving that subtle shimmer is back in a big way for spring/summer 2026.
KHAITE
Junior beauty editor Grace here, jumping in to run through the last couple of days, starting with Khaite's mist-covered runway. This half-up, half-down hairstyle was spotted throughout the show and is the perfect way to show off those oversized sunnies next season.
TIBI
Tibi's slicked-back bun is undeniably elegant, with not a single hair out of place. Note the lack of parting in this style—a move away from the centre-parted, "clean-girl" style we have seen dominate in recent years.
RALPH LAUREN
The beauty look at Ralph Lauren was dominated by one thing: seriously glossy hair. Forget lived-in texture, spring/summer 2026 is set to shine.
OFF-WHITE
Stained lips are clearly proving a thing for spring/summer 2026. The '90s brown hues seen at Off-White, which might typically be reserved for autumn, had a balmy sort of finish that makes the look perfect for spring/summer.
CHRISTIAN COWAN
Geometric bobs, where one side hangs lower than the other, weren't on our 2026 comeback trend bingo card, but Christian Cowan proved we should expect the unexpected next season.
CYNTHIA ROWLEY
There is something beautifully ethereal about the matte, rose-tinted lips at Cynthia Rowley. It's giving Bridgerton in all of the best ways.
ALTUZARRA
The deeply side-parted, swept-over, voluminous hair of the Altuzarra woman is making all of our '80s beauty dreams come true.
PRABAL GURUNG
Forget clean-girl sleekness, imperfect centre partings were the beauty moment at Prabal Gurung.
