We Just Shot Bella Hadid Backstage at Fashion Week
When you have five minutes with one of the world's most famous models, what do you do? Grab the nearest camera (which in our case happens to be a FujiFilm Instax) and start snapping, of course.
Bella Hadid is spending a red-hot minute in Sydney today to walk exclusively for Misha Collection at Fashion Week Australia. She's fresh off a plane from Cannes, and we've been following her Sydney journey so far. First stop? Watson's Bay Hotel for sunset drinks with Misha Collection founder Michelle Aznavorian, followed by a girl-gang hangout with Australian models Annabella Barber and Bambi Northwood-Blyth. It's nice to know that the beautiful stick together.
Right before Bella Hadid took to the runway, we spoke to the model about her best style tips and career advice. Keep scrolling to see our exclusive shoot and read our interview.
Who What Wear Australia: What are your favourite pieces from Misha Collection and how would you style them for a night out?
Bella Hadid: This white mini is one of my favourite pieces, I actually asked if I could wear it today because I love it. I love it with a little pair of white tennis shoes and a choker.

WWW: What’s your foolproof way to style up a little black dress?
BH: A good pair of heels and a choker and some earrings. I’m more casual so dressing up for me is just putting a pair of heels on.
WWW: What do you love about Australia?
BH: I went to Icebergs yesterday and it was so beautiful, I love the ocean, I love Australians in general. I’ll definitely come back! I’m only here for a day—I want to come back and hold a kangaroo!

WWW: Are there any Australian women whose style you love?
BH: I love Michelle [creative director of Misha Collection]—she’s so dope. I love Bambi Northwood-Blyth—she’s so rad.
WWW: Who do you look up to the most in the fashion industry?
BH: There are SO many people. Naomi Campbell has always been somebody I look up to—she’s taught me a lot. There are also so many different stylists I look up to for fashion advice
WWW: What’s the best career advice you’ve learnt from your family?
BH: I’ve had a job since I was 14 working in a shop, so I’ve always strived to do better. My family has taught me to work hard and play hard.
