The Crazy-Cheap Shoes That Saved My Summer Wardrobe
Ah, my favorite topic to discuss: shoes. Not just any shoes, but wildly affordable shoes. While I definitely think investment purchases are a smart move, I'm in full support of shopping for affordable summer shoes. Here's the thing, between vacationing and travel and beach days and adventures, you're bound to wear your favorite shoes into the ground by the summer's end. So why shell out more than you have to on a pair that's stylish and guaranteed to go with everything you own? At least that's my philosophy.
By now we're more than halfway through the summer so I can safely say that three affordable shoes, in particular, have been the backbone of almost every single one of my recent outfits. First is a pair of ankle-tie, toe-hugging sandals that I get loads of compliments on every time I wear them. They're like nothing else I own and honestly just make me really happy. Then there's a pair of translucent block-heel mules that have quickly become the backbone of many of my summer outfits because, well, they just go with everything. Lastly, black strappy slides with a square toe are my unsung hero shoes.
