If There's One Dress You Invest In for Spring, Make It This One

There's no doubt about it: All we want to shop right now is dresses. Most recently, we've introduced you to puff sleeves, polka dots, Topshop's latest It dress and now there's another one we're adding to the hit list: anything checked. Be it grown-up gingham, perfect plaid or mixed checks, there's one thing we're sure about: We'll all be wearing them one way or another. In fact, we already are, having bought them last summer or the summer before (now that's the kind of long-lasting trend we always appreciate).

Kitri posted a picture of the check-print Lenora dress last month and were instantly inundated with eager fashion girls asking for the drop date. It then arrived on site and sold out within a matter of hours. The selling power of a good frock, eh? While we wait patiently for the next drop (add yourself to the waiting list here), we've found so many more, quite frankly, fabulous checked dresses.

This is the asymmetric-sleeved Calvin Klein version Monikh wore that sold out fast, but there are now a few remaining sizes at Net-a-Porter.

Trine wearing a checked lilac shirtdress from Copenhagen-based brand InWear. It also sold out pretty quick (you're getting the pattern here, but don't worry—we've found iterations that are in stock).

From the Reformation one that resembles the school-uniform check we all remember to the ASOS White version that is guaranteed see you through occasion-wear season in serious style, you're going to love at least one of these. They're all below, along with many other sweet checked dresses. Warning: You may want to buy all 21 of them.
