Hoops are always in, whether it be a classic large hoop or a small, playful huggie. But this year, I've been eyeing a new silhouette that feels modern, bold, and exciting. The extra-chunky hoop has entered the chat in the form of dramatic tapered domes and bulky, vintage-feeling silhouettes.

Although these silhouettes have a history with legendary jewelry brands like Patricia Von Musulin and Elsa Peretti for Tiffany Co., they have also made their way to today's luxury market. Fashion houses such as Jil Sander and Bottega Veneta have brought these exaggerated hoops to their collections, and celebrities have taken a liking. Dua Lipa, Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner, and Hailey Bieber have all worn a version of Bottega Veneta's Drop Earrings, furthering the desire for these oversize silhouettes.

On my 2023 must-have list, these are number one. So below, I've taken the time to shop out the best edit of chunky hoops for our shared shopping enjoyment.
