What to Wear If You're in the Mood for Color
I’m usually resistant to bold color. Black, white, and navy—sure. But throw in some more adventurous colors, and I’m usually ready to shy away. Right now, though, with all of the strong shades in the fashion world, I’m feeling the urge to add more shades to my wardrobe. From something on the classic end like red to colors of the moment like yellow and lilac, there’s no shortage of ways to inject a little life into my wardrobe. And if you’re looking for inspiration of how to pull off spring’s best colors, see how fashion girls are doing so below.
Yellow
Yellow is one of this season's It colors, and we love it layered in different shades.
White
You can never go wrong with head-to-toe white.
Green
Unexpected but fresh and cool.
Red
Add a pop of red to other neutral shades.
Purple
Hands down, the runaway color for spring.
Pink
Swap out Millennial Pink for bolder shades.
Pastels
Sure, pastels are standard for spring, but this year they'll be everywhere.
Orange
Olivia Palermo is making a case for orange this spring, even though the color is normally tied to fall.
Khaki
Classic and timeless.
Camel
Camel is a versatile color that ties in well with almost any outfit.
Blush
Blush tones always feel a bit romantic.
Blue
The ultimate lesson in how to wear different shades of the same color.
