I didn’t want there to be more ankle boots to love. But then London Fashion Week happened, and I realised my wardrobe would look great with a pair of cream-coloured boots. Don’t get me wrong—I love white boots, too, but there’s something about an off-white hue that speaks to me. Perhaps it’s because they demand less cleaning (they hide marks a little better), or maybe it’s because they’re the not-too-distant cousin of the ultimate luxe colour, camel.
