The One Detail That Will Make Your Autumn Boots Look More Expensive
Is it just us, or is everyone going a little boot-mad right now? Whether it's Wild West inspired styles, leather knee-highs, stompy combats or elegant lace-ups, the winter staple seems to be the one thing on every fashion lover's mind. Perhaps it's the sudden drop in mercury or the leaves on the ground; either way, it's safe to say we're in full autumn mode.
I've noticed one particular boot trend infiltrate stores this season, but unlike its siblings, you might not immediately spot its distinguishing feature. The statement heel is the sort of thing fashion lovers can't get enough of. It's a detail that can separate the bargain buys from the cult designer pieces (as they say, the devil is in the details). Until now, it's largely been designer brands like Manu Atelier to Yuul Yie that have clocked onto this trend, but over the last month or so, I've seen the likes of Topshop and Mango start to get more creative with their boot offerings. Think kinked kitten heels, animal prints and even a creative "spring" heel (scroll down to see what I'm talking about). One thing's for certain: These quirky styles are bound to make any outfit look 10 times cooler. Scroll down to shop my edit.
