All the Chicest Women I Know Are Wearing This Very Specific Dress Trend
You'd be forgiven for thinking that floral prints have become somewhat stagnant. After all, much like the real thing, they bloom right at the start of the summer season and seem to be everywhere you look for the five or so months that follow. That said, over the last few years, we've seen them take a bit of a backseat, allowing motifs such as polka dots and animal prints to come into their own. Now, though, it's evident florals have made a bit of a comeback.
There one floral iteration in particular that's gaining traction, and it's one we've never seen take off on such scale. Everywhere we look right now (the street, the office, Instagram), we keep clocking stylish women wearing floral dresses with white base colours, with pretty little petals layered over the top. Indeed, this isn't a bulldozing trend—it's subtle, chic and probably the genuinely freshest take on florals we've seen in a long time.
You'll find said dresses on the high street and on the designer circuit. Though with so many options to choose from, we took it upon ourselves to unearth the most beautiful examples. Below you'll find an edit of the best white floral dresses, including those some of our favourite influencers have invested in.
Our weekly columnist Monikh Dale was one of the first to get in on the white floral dress action, opting for this satin-finish maxi from Bernadette. Imagine how pretty this'll look with a matching manicure.
Caroline Vreeland gives her Les Rêveries even more vintage style appeal by styling it with a pair of '50s cat-eye sunglasses and a top-handle bag.
LoveShackFancy knows what it takes to create a must-have floral dress, and Lucy Williams's sure knows how to wear one: with simple gold jewels and sun-kissed skin.

Réalisation's latest frock offering, The Liv, has caused a frenzy (as predicted). Pixie Geldof was one of the first to get her hands on it, which gives us a second reason to be jealous of her. We love her adorable pup.
Another brand that knows its way around the floral dress is Reformation, which has created another must-have in its Marabella dress. Note how Jay Miranda masterfully coordinates her accessories to the hue of the flowers? Inspired.
Topshop has a knack for creating It dresses with purse-friendly price-tags. This one, however, is in a league all its own. Just add strappy sandals like Francesca.
Is there a dress trend Other Stories hasn't spearheaded this season? Make like Karina and wear your white floral dress with creamy espadrilles for the ultimate in summer chic.
