Gigi Hadid Wore the Cool-Girl Version of Black Tie on This Runway

Since his New York Fashion Week debut in 2016, Brandon Maxwell has been designing wearable clothes that women want to wear and putting on runway shows that top models want to be in. Think Gigi and Bella Hadid, Adwoa Aboah, Karlie Kloss, and Joan Smalls. The former closed the F/W 18 show in an effortlessly glamorous look that everyone has been talking about since the collection debuted this week. Maxwell's take on black-tie dressing came to life on Hadid, who wore a full ball gown with embellishments, pockets, and a hoodie. It was an unexpected pairing that style setters like Hadid would boldly (and successfully) wear to a black-tie event. Ahead, see the effortlessly beautiful collection in full.
