Diamonds, feathers, and more tulle than you'd find in the wardrobe of a prima ballerina—it can only be Cannes Film Festival, and 2023's celebrations are proving to be just as glamorous as ever.
As the world's elite filmmakers—from A-list actors to directors most talent dream of working with—for two weeks in the year, the French Riviera transforms into a star-studded hub of parties, premieres, and seriously excellent outfits. From magic whipped up by couture fashion houses to low-key but ultra-elevated daytime looks, Cannes is a proverbial feast of fashion.
Now in its 76th year, 2023's Cannes premiere line-up is as strong as any we've previously seen, including Wes Anderson's latest cinematic turn, Asteroid City, and Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon. From these movies alone we can expect to see Scarlett Johansson, Elle Fanning, Natalie Portman, and Cate Blanchett attend to promote their upcoming projects. To say we're excited to see what they wear is an understatement.
