All the Dazzling Red Carpet Looks From the CFDA Awards
American designers always have one event circled on their calendars in thick red pen: the annual CFDA Fashion Awards, which honors the fashion industry's top talent. This year's red carpet was filled to the brim with well-dressed celebrities such as Zendaya, Ciara, host Emily Blunt, and Anya Taylor-Joy, who all came with their fashion A game to support the nominees. Ashley Olsen was a guest as well as a nominee—The Row founders were contenders for the American Accessory Designer of the Year award but ultimately lost to Telfar Clemens.
"The 2021 CFDA Fashion Awards mark the much-anticipated in-person return to our biggest fundraiser for CFDA's scholarship programs," CFDA CEO Steven Kolb said in a statement. "We're also incredibly pleased to see several talented names among the nominees for the first time. American fashion is experiencing a renewed energy, and these designers play a significant role in the future trajectory of our industry."

Next, Meghan Markle just wore a plunging gown with a thigh-high slit on the red carpet.
Erin got her start as aBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
