High-Street Swimsuits That Look More Expensive Than They Really Are
While you might be fine wearing the same pair of sandals over and over when you're on holiday, the same can't be said for a swimming costume. Why? Because it's the item you spend the most amount of time in whilst on holiday, so you want to feel special in it. So how do you end up looking like you've made an effort without spending a small fortune? High-street swimming costumes. Right now, there are so many cheaper pieces that look incredible and will flatter loads of body shapes, which means you can buy more than one for your holiday.
Our top tips? Firstly, after many excursions into the land of high street swimwear, we've found that the best selection is often to be found online. For shops such as Mango and Zara, their digital offering is much better than the small mishmash of styles we often come across in-store. On that note, if you're ordering online, make sure to buy a few different sizes, as some swimwear can come up small. Secondly, don't write off the brands you wouldn't usually pick for your wardrobe staples—sometimes you can come across chic swimwear in the most unexpected of places. For example, in a fit of desperation, one of theBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing team wandered into preppy U.S. brand, Hollister (not her normal shopping haunt), and discovered their surprisingly cool edit of swimwear. With a mix and match approach, the store offers a huge variety of styles and colours in fabrics which felt seriously high-end. From minimalist bandeaus to bigger bust-appropriate underwired styles, we've been completely won over.
We've hunted down the most expensive-looking swimmers to make you feel fabulous poolside or on the beach. Scroll down to shop our edit.
