With an £80 Budget, These Are the Only Wedding-Guest Dresses I'd Buy

Wedding season is a wonderful thing. You get to celebrate with people you love and dance around in beautiful surroundings, and there tends to be pretty good food and drinks on offer (usually for free). But do you know what isn’t great about wedding season? Loads of nuptials one week after another. One year—in the space of three months—I had seven weddings to attend. That’s pretty much one every other week.

While I sound like a total love Scrooge, know that I’m not (I’ll blissfully sob at strangers walking down the aisle). However, I probably don’t need to spell out that the cost of transport and a potential hotel overnight stay can add up. (That’s before I got the wedding present and discounted the pricey hen and stag dos.) If that sounds familiar, you’re probably left thinking, "Where does that leave the budget for a phenomenal wedding-guest dress that will last all those nuptials I’ve got coming up?”

Good news: I hunted down a list of affordable (not cheap, I stress) wedding-guest dresses that look genuinely expensive. I’ve kept it under a budget of £80, so you can be assured that the quality is still decent. If you have six or so weddings this season alone, your cost per wear will be around £10 per wedding.
