The Secret Shoe Brand This Influencer Is Buying From Amazon
Everyone's talking about Chidera Eggerue, aka the Slum Flower, the London-based author and blogger and brains behind the hashtag #SaggBoobsMatter. Her aim? To spark a new conversation around the way we view and discuss the female body. Eggerue's cause has quickly gained momentum over the course of 2018, and she has found herself catapulted into the media spotlight. Highlights include debuting her book What a Time to Be Alone, starring on magazine covers, numerous TV appearances and speaking at Cambridge University. It seems like everyone wants a bit of her.
We've enjoyed following her rise to stardom, and, in particular, taking note of her every fashion move, which recently includes an edit of her favourite Amazon Fashion pieces (see the full lineup here). "I was surprised to find the pieces in my curated looks because, for example, I didn't know that Amazon sold Aldo, which is a shoe brand that I like a lot," she says. Okay, so now we know where we're going for our next shoe shopping trip…
Because it's Monday and we all need a little cheering up, we decided to do a roundup of our favourite Chidera Eggerue outfits. From Amazon's cool cord suit to a personality-packed pink patent trench, scroll down to see and shop the looks. Whatever you do, don't forget her number one tip for feeling (and therefore looking) confident: "Recognise that nobody thinks about you as much as you, so no one cares, which, as much as it sounds quite dull, it's also very freeing to know that no one is going to be thinking about your outfit as much as you do!"
