The bees are buzzing, the sun is shining, and it's finally warm enough to eat all the ice cream without a chill running down your back. During the glorious days of nonstop sunshine and blooming fields of colorful flowers, I feel a bit guilty cocooning in a drab palette of neutrals. Sometimes, it feels simply too nice outside to not embrace at least a drop of color in my outfits, and when I'm short on fashion inspiration I head over to the masters of colorful styling: Scandi girls.

Even if you're not big on wearing a palette of pastels from head to toe, it's worth checking out the Scandi-girl sphere of Instagram just due to the sheer joy you feel after seeing so much happy color. Realistically though, I do plan on adopting some brighter hues into my warm-weather wardrobe, so I thought I'd share the outfits that are thrilling me right now. Ahead, you'll see the stylish outfits Scandi girls are wearing for the season and all the ways you can get the looks for yourself.

Pastels and spring basically go hand-in-hand. While lilac accents aren't the most revolutionary spring outfit, it's a staple for a reason: it always just looks so good. Incorporate lilac tones into your spring outfits with a cute cardigan or statement handbag.

I'm calling it now: this deep, universally flattering shade of blue (dubbed French blue) will be everywhere this spring and summer. Thanks to its underground popularity, you probably own a piece or two in this blue beloved by European women.

Based on our editors' recent obsession with new and shiny things, the metallic trend isn't going away anytime soon. While there's so many metallic handbags and shoes on the market, I've been leaning into silver and gold-colored tops, dresses, and pants to make an extra statement.

Trippy Green

As the name suggests, this psychedelic tone is reminiscent of the free, fun-loving spirit from the '60s and '70s. Pair a multi-colored green together with other deep, jewel tones for a sophisticated look, or embrace trippy green on its own with resort-wear and bikinis.
