Everyone Should Know About This Jewelry Trend
One of the biggest jewelry trends of the season is also one of the more wearable. Cute gold necklaces are being adopted as the go-to everyday jewelry worn by celebrities and fashion girls alike, and we have a feeling they’ll be the most noteworthy trend of the summer. What we love most is that they can go with everything from a basic T-shirt to a more elevated dress for a night out.
While we’re seeing a range of styles, Bella Hadid is making a case for delicate gold chain—the affordable $17 necklace she wore at Cannes last week would be an easy addition to any wardrobe. We think it’s the perfect layering piece to go with other styles (e.g., pendant necklaces and rose-branch offerings) we’ve been seeing everywhere. The trick for wearing them together? Layer multiple styles, but make sure each ones hits at a different length. Ahead, see how to wear them and shop our favorite styles.
Bella Hadid is a fan of the gold necklace trend. Here, she's wearing a $17 version from 8 Other Reasons.
As you can see, I too am a fan of the gold necklace trend. Here I'm wearing a Saint Christopher necklace paired with hoop earrings, but I've also been layering multiple necklaces together. Bagatiba is my go-to brand.
Wearing one large pendant necklace like this one is a simple way to tap into the trend.
Layering up different styles at different lengths is a cool way to make a statement.
Wear your gold necklaces with simple tank tops, over T-shirts, or with dresses. It's the versatile jewelry you can wear every single day.
