In the summer, when the days are long, the evenings are warm, and my mind is a little more carefree, my calendar tends to get a lot more action. From daytime meetings to after-work cocktails and events, I'll often be out from day to night, which means I'm always looking for versatile and chic outfits that will easily take me through the summer day—and my workweek—seamlessly. My summer outfit rotations usually include plenty of elegant linen separates, lightweight layers, luxe-looking fabrics, and walkable kitten heels for an easy day-to-night transition.

Full skirts are trending, and I love the fact that they're elegant enough to easily wear to work or meetings. The key is to style it with a polished top. A chic vest with a high neckline is the perfect option. Just add minimal kitten heels to finish the look.

Opt for a chic one-and-done dress when you don't have time to think this summer. A trending bubble-hem midi silhouette is the perfect choice for an of-the-moment look. Style with kitten heels and a polished bag to complete the outfit.

A silky camisole is the perfect lightweight and luxe-looking summer top to style with relaxed off-white jeans for alfresco evening cocktails. Simply add a linen blazer for daytime meetings. A little colorful pop in the form of red kitten heels will finish the look beautifully. This is a great date-night look.

If you want to sport capri pants at work, simply pair them with a longline blazer and pointed-toe mules in an all-black color palette. This look is so chic and very on-trend.

When you want to stay cool in the sweltering heat but look sophisticated, opt for a chic white linen maxi-skirt set. It oozes an effortless elegance, and you can pair it with heels or flats depending on the occasion.

If you're looking for a linen piece that will look polished for the evening, then go for a maxi-length black dress that oozes elegance. Pair it with a summery pop of color in your shoes.
