Talk About a Soft Launch—These 7 Outfits Are a Sneak Peek at My Fall Wardrobe
There was a time when all I could do was daydream about summer. Quite a few heat waves later, I'm starting to think about how nice the cooler weather in fall will be. My amazing collection of outerwear hasn't left my closet since May, and I'm dying to let those oversize leather jackets out of their cage. The part of dressing for fall that I'm most excited about is the layering. Slowly piling on additional levels of clothing is downright entertaining.
One of my favorite things to do when I get ready for a new season is to compile a list of the outfits that I'm most excited to wear. So below, you'll find my guide to transitioning to fall. These seven outfits are guaranteed to get you excited, so enjoy.
A cream suit just might be the perfect outfit to wear when you're getting ready for fall. While a tailored blazer and pants are the ultimate autumn apparel, cream is a staple in summer. Combining the two is genius.

If it's too hot where you are to sport a full suit, try this one that comes with matching shorts.
This is always the time of year that I refresh my sneaker collection.
If you're ready to wear long sleeves but the temperatures are making that difficult, try a sheer top. If you saw just one runway show last season, you already know that every designer is in support of a sheer moment.

Another wardrobe staple that I'm always piling up on when fall is on its way.
I predict that the knee-length skirt is going to continue to have its moment for many more months to come. This is such an easy and chic look to copy.

You don't know comfort until you've tried this top that's one of my personal favorites.
You really can't go wrong when putting a chain belt on top of any look.
This is the look that I'm most excited to copy. We all have a funky sweater, button-down shirt, and trench coat, so get creative with what you have at home or add some new staples to your collection.

If you don't have a good trench coat, you won't regret this purchase.
Straight-leg jeans paired with a blazer have never failed me. When I have friends who don't know what to wear in the fall, I plan on pointing them in this direction.

You won't meet a fashion editor who isn't behind the distressed-leather trend. Prepare to see this look fully take over come fall.

I love to slowly transition my favorite minidresses into fall. All you need are the right accessories and a good blazer to top it off.

After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, she worked for ShopBazaar, contributing regularly to Bazaar.com, and finally made her way toBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing , where she is an associate editor.
