7 Simple and Chic Outfits That Require No Effort at All
Natalie Cantell
I'm always in need of more easy and chic outfit formulas, especially the ones comprised of all of my favorite basics that take five minutes to put together. This winter, I decided to round up some simple but elevated outfits to keep in my back pocket and revisit when I'm stumped on what to wear. On my hunt for the easiest but also most stylish outfit ideas out there, I landed on seven looks that could work for so many occasions, starring some of my current-favorite winter items such as sweaters, coats, and boots.
From an elevated take on denim and sneakers to a very chill skirt-with-heels moment, here is all the inspo you'll need for seven simple yet chic winter outfit ideas to re-create this season.
Long Wool Coat + Jeans + Sneakers
So many variations of this outfit work because it's so effortlessly chic and comfortable at the same time. Coats, jeans, and sneakers make for the perfect wear-on-repeat winter look.
Blazer + Leather-Look Pants + Ballet Flats
I'm loving this outfit for a weekend out in the city, especially the buttery yellow on-trend sweater. I have a feeling we'll be seeing lots of leather-look pants paired with chic ballet flats this winter.
Barn Coat + Tidy Trousers + Loafers
I'm picturing myself wearing this to brunch on the weekend.
Scarf Coat + Elevated Earrings + Anything Cozy
An on-trend scarf coat instantly makes any outfit and requires zero effort yet looks so chic and put together. Pair it with chic earrings and wear it over anything at all and still feel polished.
Oversize Sweater + Sheer Skirt + Buckle Pumps
Filing this look under "last-minute outfits to wear to dinner." Details like a snakeskin bag and red lip make it all feel intentional.
Black Cardigan + Black Jeans + Black Boots
The perfect default outfit. It just doesn't get easier or more versatile than an all-black look.
Bodysuit + Cardigan + Denim
This is the ultimate easy weekend outfit combination made up of my favorite basics. I'd pair this outfit with Mary Jane flats.
