7 Fall Micro-Trends I'm Suddenly Seeing Everywhere
Here atBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing , we focus a lot of our energy on showing you the biggest trends of the season, and while we'll never stop covering the heavy hitters, there are several micro-trends worthy of honorary mentions. While these aren't causing major style moves yet, we firmly believe that it's only a matter of time until they graduate from micro to macro, or in other words, from niche to mainstream.
After hours of online shopping (all in the name of research!), I'm sharing the fall micro-trends on my radar at the moment. I've double-tapped these pieces when I spotted them in my feed and noticed them stocked at several key retailers, which tells me that each one is on the brink of becoming huge—plus, they're just plain beautiful to look at. From the new sweater trend that's bringing back preppy style to the new detail that's defining fall's It flats, keep reading for fashion's coolest micro-trends of the moment.
1. Single-Closure Cardigans
The cardigans keep shrinking. We've spoken about the rising in single-closure cardigans before, but it's a look I keep seeing celebs and fashion insiders gravitate towards, thanks mostly to Jacquemus's iconic nameplate knit that first ignited the trend. Sure, this one isn't for the faint of heart, but it definitely brings the wow factor.
2. Puffer Vests
On Gigi Hadid: Frame Sleeveless Leather Puffer Vest ($1298)
Puffer season is almost here, but before we get into that territory, puffer vests are the fall-to-winter micro-trend that actually makes so much sense for transitional dressing. Gigi Hadid is already a fan, and although her leather vest comes with a luxury price tag, there are plenty of more affordable leather options to be found.
3. Statement Scarves
I know—I can't believe we're already talking about winter accessories either. It's hard to believe scarves and puffers are back in our outfit rotation, but one surefire way to brighten up your winter mood is via a colorful statement scarf.
4. Shearling Slides
Shearling details are popping up everywhere I look, but more than anything, I keep seeing shearling-lined slides hitting the new arrivals sections of my go-to sites. Whether it be slides, clogs, or mules, cozy textured linings are the key detail on the coolest shoes right now.
5. Leather Bomber Jackets
Sorry, moto jackets—your rival just showed up. The leather jackets bubbling up right now offer a sleek, '80s-inspired refresh to the classic outerwear piece, but leather bomber jackets, in particular, are the styles taking center stage.
7. Striped Sweaters
I've seen this particular sweater trend so often this fall that I'm convinced it's stalking me. I can't open up my Instagram feed these days without seeing at least 10 outfits with striped sweaters and it's to the point where I'm convinced I need one now. The preppy knit feels relaxed and elevated and happens to pair flawlessly with other wardrobe staples, making it a no-brainer addition.
