Victoria Beckham and Rosie HW Just Twinned in Pretty "Naked" Dresses at the Same Party

This past weekend, a ticket to Victoria Beckham's 50th birthday party in London was the hottest invite in town. As with all her pursuits, the multi-hyphenate didn't cut corners. Celebrating at London's members-only Oswald Club, the party's guest list included every member of the Spice Girls, Tom Cruise, Salma Hayek and Eva Longoria, amongst other famous faces.
For her star-studded event, Beckham of course chose a dress worthy of such an occasion. Selecting a floor-sweeping maxi in a pretty aqua-hued tulle fabric with a sheer finish and frill embellishments, the designer tapped into several key dress trends for her birthday look. Saturating the S/S 24 runway collections, the pale blue colour trend is one of the biggest of the season, and Beckham's cyan dress nodded towards it in a way that felt wearable and in line with her style whilst echoing the light and airy energy of spring.
A-list attendee Rosie Huntington-Whiteley clearly got the sheer-dress-in-a-pastel-shade memo, partaking in the trend by styling a floor-length, semi-sheer dress in pale pink. The "naked" dress trend is nothing new, but VB and Rosie HW's sugary colour choices are distinctly different from the black, metallic and rhinestone-embellished naked dresses we're used to spotting on the red carpet.
Featuring a halterneck finish, Huntington-Whiteley's dress was designed with an opaque bodice and sheer, flowing skirt. Styling her outfit with Alaïa's trending Le Teckel bag in white and tall, strappy heels, the model's elegant ensemble offered a fresh and more wearable take on the naked dress trend that makes dressing for parties in the summer months so much easier.
The style icons showcased different takes on the naked dress, but both kept their looks elegant, fresh and summer-ready.

Style with sandals or dress up with strappy heels.
The butter yellow colour trend is taking off this spring,.
The bow detailing adds a light and summery touch.
Opaque at the top and sheer at the legs, this one from Mango is the best of both worlds.
