Fourth of July is quickly approaching, and while it isn't necessarily the most stylish of holidays, it's always one of my favorites. It's marks a high point in summer, which means the holiday is filled with outdoor activities like barbecuing, picnicking, and of course, watching fireworks. But I'll be the first to admit that the festive outfits that come to mind with the holiday can often go a bit overboard on the stars and stripes (read: cliché).

If you're like me and want to find an outfit that's both festive and yet still stylish, look no further. I've put together the following outfits for you (but really for me too) that prove it's completely achievable to create an all-American themed outfit that's still true to your personal style. I mean, I don't know about you, but I'd definitely wear these outfits on any other summer day.

Go on to shop the outfit ideas I have planned for the holiday so you can celebrate your chicest Fourth of July yet.

Stripes, hold the stars

If you want to look stylish without really trying

Red, white, and blue are best when color-blocked

Quirky mismatched prints that feel festive

What's more all-American than denim?

If your Fourth of July plans are more low-key

Picnic table, but make it fashion

Wow them with a statement top
