I maintain my opinion that they’re the absolute opposite of elegance and belong only on stage. I’d wear espadrilles or barely there sandals that aren’t too high instead. You’ve got to be able to dance all night, and French girls are often the life and soul of the party. "For me, American weddings are so over-the-top it’s getting very close to ridiculous. Bows, matching colors, huge hats, pastels, and floral prints are out. Less is more. Most importantly, I would keep it comfy. No heels so I can dance, stretchy waistband so I can eat, and an extra layer so I can go smoke outside with my glass of wine.
