5 Trends That'll Be Huge in 2024, According to Copenhagen's Coolest Brand
Another Copenhagen trip, another week spent wishing I was a Dane. I just returned to Los Angeles from my sixth time attending Copenhagen Fashion Week, which continues to outdo itself each and every season. As the resident Scandi expert here atBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing , I often get asked about the region's next big brands. Lately, my answer is singular: Gestuz.
Gestuz is well on its way to becoming Copenhagen's most exciting brand. It's already spent an impressive 15 years solidifying a fan base in Europe and is now setting its sights on the U.S. and Asia. So far, the slow-and-steady expansion is going swimmingly, as the one and only Hailey Bieber wore a ripped-from-the-runway Gestuz look last fall.
From my front-row seat last week, I got an excellent look at Gestuz's vision for spring/summer 2024, and it's remarkably cool. Scroll down for my breakdown of the top five runway trends from Gestuz's latest show during Copenhagen Fashion Week.
1. Double Belts
On its S/S 24 runway, Gestuz proved that the double-belted trend is more versatile than you think. Whether you choose to wear a pair of standard-issue belts or buy a two-in-one version, the styling options are endless.

2. Dresses Over Pants
As I documented in my TikTok trend report forBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing , dresses over pants were absolutely everywhere during Copenhagen Fashion Week's spring/summer 2024 season, including at Gestuz, Saks Potts, Ganni, Stine Goya, and Remain.

3. Racing Jackets
This one's for the Formula One girlies. Gestuz showed off an incredibly cool racing jacket on the runway, but I also spotted the trend all over the street style scene in Copenhagen this season.

4. Long Shorts
Is it time to say goodbye to micro shorts for good? Well, Copenhagen seems to think so. Gestuz presented my favorite interpretation of the look, styling it with a cropped blazer and moto boots. As you can see in my TikTok, other brands on board with long shorts include Remain and Baum und Pferdgarten.

5. Denim on Denim
This one's a no-brainer since it's extremely easy to re-create and will never go out of style. Gestuz offered up a variety of denim-on-denim styling ideas on the runway, including jackets with maxi skirts and shirts with jeans.

Erin got her start as aBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
