Gigi Hadid Is Ready to Bring This Retro Denim Trend Back, But Are You?

Ever the sartorial risktaker, Gigi Hadid just wore a denim style that's decades old but has been pushed aside in recent years: ultra-long flared jeans. Every so often, designers make an attempt to bring the signature '70s style back, but it hasn't been sticking as of late. While cropped flares are practically classics now after catching on several years ago, when we see someone wearing long flares, we do a bit of a double take, which is how we reacted to Hadid's latest look.

From the knees up, Hadid's flares could practically pass as skinny jeans, but the wide, exaggerated fluting at the hem takes them straight to retro status. But Hadid didn't go for a purely '70s look. With the addition of a hot-pink micro mini bag, fur jacket, and platform Dr. Martens, she fast-forwarded straight to the '90s. The resulting outfit was unexpected and cool enough to copy, in our humble opinion. Considering trying flared jeans again?
