It's hard to believe we've officially entered a new decade, but it's here, and the It crowd is celebrating the best way they know how—with a red carpet. Tonight is the highly anticipated 2020 Golden Globe Awards, and already, the red carpet is swarming with everything from naked dresses to inventive beauty looks. After keeping a close watch, I think it is safe to say that one of the first major red carpet trends has finally been established—puffy sleeves.
One after the other, gowns complete with voluminous sleeves of all kinds waltzed down the red carpet, making us fall in love with one of the biggest trends of the past decade all over again. Everyone from Dakota Fanning to Zoey Deutch has proven this is the red carpet trend to know and love in 2020, but surely the formalwear trends will not stop there.
