Gwendoline Christie Reigns Supreme at the Game of Thrones Season Finale Premiere
Spring is here, but winter is (finally) coming!
Last night the cast of Game of Thrones walked the red carpet in New York City for the last time to celebrate the series finale of one of the most epic television series in this millennium. While the iron throne itself is still up for grabs (we're hoping for a Stark sister diarchy), when it comes to style statements, there was one clear winner: Gwendoline Christie, otherwise known as the formidable Brienne of Tarth.
Dressed in a flowing gown from Iris van Herpen’s spring 2019 couture collection, the towering beauty epitomized the series' anthemic prophecy, "A Song of Ice and Fire." Which is to say, if you weren't already rooting for this Iron Maiden, we have a feeling she just advanced a few places on Hollywood's list of style stars.
Can't wait for the official season eight premiere on April 14? Don't miss Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, and more of your favorite Game of Thrones stars below.

After she finishes reading the entire internet every day, she can be found dining out at her favorite restaurants, trying new beauty treatments, or indulging her historical-fiction habit.
