Given how often I check street-style blogs and photo agency pages, I see almost every outfit worn by celebrities. But the celebrity I spot most is Hailey Bieber. This summer, however, I've found it hard to keep track of all of her looks because they all sort of look the same. While her nighttime outfits have been all across the board, her daytime ones have mainly revolved around one item: Denim by Orlee vintage 501 Levi's shorts.
So far this summer, I've counted five occasions where Bieber wore the baggy low-rise cutoffs, whether she's posted the outfits herself on Instagram or been photographed wearing them around NYC and L.A. She often pairs the shorts with her go-to white Leset cropped Kelly tee, a black-and-gold The Row belt, white socks, and loafers or Adidas Sambas. To dress up the shorts, she once added a Khaite strapless corset top. On another occasion, she added statement earrings and designer bags, including Bottega Veneta's Jodie and Saint Laurent's Le 5 à 7 tote.
With practically all of the fashion world to choose from, it says a lot that Bieber can't stop wearing these Levi's shorts. Sadly, Denim by Orlee's offering of similar styles is currently limited. Urban Outfitters' Urban Renewal line has long been my source for vintage Levi's. In fact, it's likely where I bought my first pair of 505s in high school (I'm not counting the toddler-sized classic 501s that I cherish and keep stored away safely at my mom's house). So, of course, when I decided to try and copy the vintage jorts look that Bieber keeps wearing, it was the first place I looked.
