I Tried Hailey Bieber's New Eyewear Drop, and Yep, You Need Everything
Sponsor Content Created With Vogue Eyewear
When I saw that Hailey Bieber dropped the second wave of her ultra-cool collaboration with Vogue Eyewear, I immediately knew that I had to get my hands on it. Not only is she my style crush, but the It girl's first collection with the brand was iconic, so I was expecting nothing short of perfection when the boxes arrived at our West Hollywood office. I snagged two styles from the drop: a super-sleek pair of opal-green sunglasses that are giving classic vibes with a modern twist and a pair of tortoiseshell frames with clear lenses. (I'm in my preppy era.) And spoiler alert: They exceeded all my expectations.
Want proof? Well, I wouldn't be doing my job if I didn't show you how they looked in real life, so I re-created two of Bieber's looks from the Vogue Eyewear campaign featuring both glasses. Keep scrolling to see them in action, and when you find yourself staring at an online cart full of eyewear, don't say I didn't warn you.
Quite truthfully, I was skeptical when I reached for this pair of non-prescription optical lenses. As cute as they are, I've never worn regular glasses out and about. But prep-school vibes are trending hard, and what better way to lean in than by wearing a pair of faux eyeglasses? Plus, if Bieber says they're cool, you know I can't resist trying them out. It took a few minutes to get used to seeing myself in them, but I quickly embraced (or dare I say became obsessed?) with the look. The super-subtle cat-eye silhouette gives these classic frames a fun feminine edge, and the neutral tortoiseshell was so easy to pair with everything in my closet including this denim-on-denim 'fit. Take it from me: It's time for you to add these glasses (prescription or not) to your accessories rotation.
I have a love like no other for sunglasses. I may have a dozen pairs (and counting!), but I was willing to make room in my collection for these cool opal-green frames, which have that same unique shape as the first pair. The mossy hue elevated my Bieber-inspired simple-white-tank-and-parachute-pants look even more. I think she'd definitely approve.
