There's this thing I like to call "trend whiplash." It's basically the jolt of a trend's sudden onslaught and even more sudden departure, and it brings a lot of uncertainty into the mix for me when I want to shop for a cute bag or a new pair of shoes. How can I predict the shelf life of my potential purchase before I take the plunge? Here atBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing , we go out of our way to share insight into the shelf life of certain trends, like which shoe trends to ditch and on the other hand, which pieces our editors have worn and loved for years.

Today I'm taking a look at the trends that three generations of women in my family—my grandmother, my mom, and my sister and I—have unanimously loved. After 70 years of wearing these heirloom clothing items, I think it's safe to say that if these trends have proven to be relevant for all of us, they'll truly never bite the dust.

If I haven't made it overwhelmingly clear yet, I have a soft spot for secondhand, especially vintage, clothing. So I was thrilled when a few months back, my grandmother bestowed a plethora of her best-kept clothing, bags, and accessories upon me. I'm over the moon to give new life to items like her vintage Fendi baguette bag and a handful of printed silk scarves from designers like Hermès and Henri Bendel. Below I'm sharing how I'm styling my newly inherited pieces to prove just how much staying power these trends really have.

Logo bags are a sure bet

My grandmother acquired Fendi's Zucca Baguette bag in the '70s when Karl Lagerfeld was at the helm of the Italian fashion house. The style was popular then for its sophisticated palette of muted earth tones, but today I'm favoring the bag's logo print, styling it with jeans and platform sneakers like a true Hypebae.

Leopard print truly never goes out of style

It's funny to say that leopard print is necessarily a "trend" because I like to think of it as more of a classic. But the print is gearing up to be a major one for F/W 18, and I'm pretty excited to style this LaPlaca family original bomber jacket.

Three generations of women in my family adore beaded bags

It seems that the women in my family all have amazing taste when it comes to their bag collections. Growing up, I remember my mom wearing this delicately beaded bag to her events.

Silk scarves are definitely worth stocking up on

On a particular visit home, I left with a huge bag of printed silk scarves my grandmother was giving away. I wear them constantly because the styling ideas are endless—So far I've worn this blue-and-white one tied as a belt, alone as a tube top, and tied up in my hair.

Chain belts lend a vintage appeal

I've grown to love this ornate chain belt because it adds something special to any outfit I wear it with.
