Congrats are in order! Hilary Duff just announced her engagement to singer Matthew Koma. This morning, she shared the news on Instagram by posting a selfie that features a beaming Duff and Koma and a very special ring adorning Duff's left hand. She captioned the photo, "He asked me to be his wife." The two have been dating for several years and brought a daughter, Banks Violet Bair, into the world six months ago.
As for Duff's ring, well, it's an elegant and timeless square-shaped stone that also happens to be one of 2019's most popular engagement ring styles. According to Kathryn Money, VP of Strategy and Merchandising for Brilliant Earth, Duff's ring appears to feature a cushion-cut diamond in a white gold or platinum split shank solitaire setting, and she estimates that the center diamond weighs approximately three to four carats.
