5 Style Tips for Travelling Like a Fashion Blogger
Dreaming of jetting off somewhere far away this summer but struggling to make it happen? Sometimes you’ve just gotta live vicariously through someone else, like Julia Engel of Gal Meets Glam. The super-blogger was sent on a Greek Islands adventure and as expected, the trip was rife with chic accessories (retro-inspired pastel Bulgari, shades, anyone?), tips for travelling stylishly, and a great tan to boot.

Everyone is guilty of overpacking for a vacay, but when you’re travelling to somewhere that’s warm and surrounded by water, it’s safe to assume you’ll spend a lot of your time soaking up the sun. Pack light pieces that can be worn during the day and straight through the night, and focus on fun pastel accessories—especially sunglasses. Plus, packing light means you get to go home with more goodies!
"The endless blues and whites in Mykonos made me want to wear white all day long, adding pops of colours though my accessories,” says Julia, "My Bulgari Diva sunglasses have the perfect cat eye and add a vintage yet sophisticated touch to any outfit.”
While it’s true that fashion girls love their heels, when you’re on a getaway, it’s ok to ditch them. “A relaxed look that’s easy to throw on and go is a must in Mykonos, where the style is much more on the casual side (it’s nearly impossible to wear heels walking through the cobbled streets),” says Julia.
Aside from keeping you cool, white is sophisticated and chic and looks especially nice surrounded by vibrant colours.
Because who doesn’t dream of riding a Vespa wearing pink sunnies and a matching helmet?!
