We recently reported that Jennifer Lawrence is newly engaged to NYC art gallery director Cooke Maroney. While Lawrence has certainly been out and about since he proposed, we predicted that the small ring she was wearing on her ring finger was perhaps a stunt ring or this ring with the diamond spun around. It appears that we were at least partly correct. Lawrence went out to dinner at ABC Cocina in NYC last night wearing a massive diamond ring on her ring finger, which appears to be her engagement ring.

The ring looks like a round solitaire diamond (similar to Brittany Snow's engagement ring, which she revealed earlier this week) on a thin gold band. Alicia Davis, VP of jewelry at Shane Co., says that the diamond appears to be four carats, and "the solitaire trend remained one of the most popular in 2018." It truly doesn't get more classic, timeless, and elegant than Jennifer Lawrence's round solitaire engagement ring.
