Jordyn Woods didn't intend to become a body-positivity advocate. The 20-year-old model and influencer actually calls herself an "accidental spokesperson" because her fans and followers look up to her as an activist for a more inclusive industry. But whether or not she meant for it to happen, Woods now stands for an entirely new generation of models breaking boundaries left and right.

Today, she announced the news that she's launching an activewear line tomorrow, August 30, that will continue to give visibility to the plus-size community. Called Secndnture—because, according to Woods, the clothes you work out in should feel as comfortable as a second skin—the '80s-inspired color-block windbreakers, bike shorts, and leggings will be offered in sizes from XS to 2X and priced from $45 to $79.

"Even though this is about all size ranges, I made something for everyone and I made things people wouldn't want to make for curvier girls, like fun cutouts," Woods told WWD. "It's really about owning who you are in these outfits and having fun. I want people to feel confident to own every part of their body and go out in that cutout."

Woods has another, more personal reason for launching Secndnature, aside from a desire to offer more stylish options in extended sizes. After her father died of cancer last year, she started cycling, hiking, swimming, and working out with a trainer as a form of therapy, according to WWD. Exercising has helped her cope with her intense loss, so here's to seeing Secndnture serve as that outlet for many more people to come.
