I Can't Wait for the Cold Weather to Wear These 5 Knitwear Trends
My ideal kind of world would forever stay in late September and early October. Why? Because it's not too dark at night (but light enough in the morning to not feel depressing) and the weather is also not too cold and not too warm. This would also mean it would be permanently knitwear season. Oh, and knitwear. What's to dislike about this item of clothing? It's versatile, cosy, can be worn oversize or tight and looks great with jeans. It is the only item of clothing that feels like you're getting a hug—I could go on. My love for knitwear isn't what you've come for, though. You want to know what the biggest jumper trends of this season are, and where you can find them. There are five key looks I've highlighted below, so keep scrolling for more.
CARDIGANS
At the top of my list, and I think everyone else's in the fashion industry is the cardigan. Think oversize, long, cropped, collared and brightly coloured. Tere are endless possibilities with this knitwear trend, basically. Just go with what you love.

NEUTRAL
Is it really a surprise? The pared-back, minimalist aesthetic has been booming for several seasons, not to mention pieces that can last in your wardrobe are more sustainable. In step the neutral jumper. Whether it's an oversize greige style pullover or a classic beige roll-neck, there are so many around that it'll be hard to choose.

NAUTICAL
Classics are classics for a reason, and there's no greater wardrobe staple than the striped jumper. For this coming autumn/winter 2020 trends, there's an emphasis on pieces that will go the long haul—not trends that are fleeting. For that reason, it makes sense that the nautical jumper is what we've seen plenty of influencers wearing.

OVER THE SHOULDERS
Okay, this is a bit of a sneaky one, but I stand by my decision that this is a real jumper trend for this coming autumn. Grab your favourite oversize sweater and drape it over your shoulders. That's it. Sometimes it really is that simple.
