Kaitlyn Dever Wore $47 Heels With a Louis Vuitton Dress on the Oscars Red Carpet

The 2020 Oscars red carpet did not disappoint. And while there was a slew of standout looks, Kaitlyn Dever’s ensemble was especially noteworthy. The Booksmart star wore a completely sustainable look by Louis Vuitton. "I’m here supporting sustainable clothing,” she mentioned to E!’s Giuliana Rancic on the carpet. In fact, she was specifically supporting Red Carpet Green Dress, a women-led movement to bring sustainability to the forefront of fashion. And while her beaded ruby dress certainly stunned, her shoes did as well. Believe it or not, the heels in question just happened to skew on the affordable end. Yep—she wore platform sandals from Aldo, a certified climate-neutral brand.

While Dever’s sandals were custom, the same silhouette is actually available right now in three different colors. An added bonus? They happen to be on sale for $47. Keep scrolling to check out Dever’s full ensemble, and then shop her heels if you’ve been on the hunt for some A+ party platforms.
