Kate Upton's Reception Gown Was Just as Pretty as Her Wedding Dress

It would be hard to argue that Kate Upton didn't have one of the most memorable weddings of 2017. Aside from the stunning Italian venue, the ceremony was particularly special because it happened just a few days after her husband Justin Verlander's major World Series win. Now, Vogue has shared brand-new photos from Upton's wedding, revealing her beautiful reception dress for the first time.

After donning an A-line lace Valentino dress for the ceremony, Upton changed into a stunning sheer, form-fitting gown for dancing—which happens to align perfectly with the naked trend. “I wanted a dress that I could have fun in, but that still brought the glamour,” Upton told Vogue. “I worked with Christy Rilling Studio to create exactly what I’d envisioned." Scroll down for a look at the reception gown, and head over to Vogue to see her entire wedding album.

Associate Director, Fashion News

Erin got her start as aBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
