Kendall Jenner Wore the Daring Color Trend That I'm Ditching Neutrals For

If you're anything like me, your closet consists mostly of varying shades of black, gray, white, and beige. Neutrals are neutrals because they go with everything, and what could possibly be wrong with that? But after watching runway collections drop their previously low-key color palettes for vibrant, saturated hues—I'm looking at you, Valentino, The Row, Chanel, and Prada—I've begun to rethink my strict no-color policy. And apparently, I'm not alone.

On Saturday, Kendall Jenner, who is also known to frequent more muted wardrobe items, used a lunch with friend Travis Bennett as an excuse to dress outside of her comfort zone, opting to pair a marigold-colored turtleneck from The Frankie Shop with a highlighter-orange knit from Bec + Bridge, which she wore effortlessly tossed over her shoulders. With the bold duo, she wore high-waisted, mid-wash jeans from Khaite and simple brown ankle boots.

With runways and the street style crowd both backing the daring color trend, it won't be long before neutrals get the boot. With that in mind, shop our favorite super-saturated pieces ahead.
