The 5-Second Outfit Every Woman Should Try, According to Lauren Conrad
It seems we're always on the hunt for those perfect outfit formulas that are stylish and cool, but take as little time to put together as humanly possible. While we basically lived in the three-piece look of an off-the-shoulder top, jeans, and sandals over the summer, there's actually a just-as-simple look for fall and winter—just ask Lauren Conrad. While we chatted with her during her home tour with our sister site MyDomaine, LC spilled on her number one (easy!) cold-weather ensemble every woman should master this season. Her thoughts? "My go-to outfit is a cozy sweater, cropped denim, and tan booties or stylish flats," she told us. "I always look forward to sweater weather!" We couldn't agree more and love this look because it can work no matter where you live. You can test out this ensemble as is if you live somewhere slightly warmer like California—or can simply add a coat and winter accessories if you reside in a colder climate like NYC.
Interested in trying this Lauren-approved ensemble this season? Go on to check out how street style stars are wearing the look. Plus, go a bit further to shop the outfit, too.
This is the ideal Lauren Conrad outfit—cropped jeans, a cozy sweater, and neutral ankle boots.
For the perfect off-duty look, go for loose jeans, a chunky turtleneck, comfortable flats—and add a sleek coat if it's really cold outside.
This ensemble is so cozy—go for an oversize knit, paired with your flares and cute ballet flats.
Live somewhere like L.A.? This look is ideal—a lightweight sweater (with a tank on top for a forward vibe), cropped flares, and flats.
For a polished yet sleek look, go for tailored jeans, a turtleneck, white sneakers, and finish the ensemble off with a suede jacket.
All the It girls are wearing these jeans.
Lauren can't get enough of a tan pair of ankle boots.
Just imagine how chic this would look for a holiday party.
If you want to go for something besides ankle boots, try cool loafers like these instead.
The one-sided cut-out shoulder is very right now.
These jeans are incredibly flattering.
The taller silhouette makes these ideal to wear with cropped jeans.Check out Lauren Conrad's home over on MyDomaine!Opening Images: @laurenconrad_com
